PRN position available - no set hours or guaranteed hours. CT Tech utilizes independent judgment in the performance of diagnostic imaging procedures in the Radiology Department. Performs radiological duties in compliance with x-ray department and legal requirements following all radiation safety guidelines. May also fill in for PET/CT.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and be registered and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must be licensed by the state of Iowa as a General Radiographer. X-ray Technologists willing to pursue CT certification encouraged to apply. CPR and Mandatory Reporter Certification is required. Ability needed to make independent decisions using critical thinking, problem solving and performing responsibilities under stressful situations. Excellent communication skills are needed, both verbal and written, to communicate with patients, providers, and staff members.
